Kurfürstendamm is the main street of West Berlin, located in the district of Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf. After World War II it was located in West Berlin, known for numerous shops, especially KaDeWe (Kaufhaus des Westens). The name of the street, usually shortened to Ku'damm has become synonymous with urban lifestyle in the western part of the city. After German reunification, the importance of the street has declined, but is still one of the most popular shopping places in Berlin.

Berlin, exactly as New York is a city that never sleeps. There is no closing times restrictions, so most of the clubs, discos, bars are opened whole the night. There are three main clubs districts in Berlin: Prenzlauerberg-Mitte, Kreuzberg and Friedrichshein, where you can party the whole night long.
As Berlin is considered as a very tolerant and alternative city you can find here everything you can thing about - even beach Bars (on the river side), or sophisticated sex clubs, as well as rock, alternative and funky clubs. The capital of Germany is also the world´s capital for electronic music.
Nightlife in Berlin can be tricky.
