Berlin Guide - Events in Berlin

Carnival of Cultures is a show of cultures and music from around the world, meetings with artists, environmentalists, human rights defenders. The event was created to promote and strengthen tolerance and openness. German capital files with colorful processions and is stunned by music from around the world - from the German hip-hop trough Turkish pop to Caribbean rhythms. 4 days crowds of spectators watched the parades and great platforms on which occur more than 900 artists formed in groups from more than 70 countries. Usually one day is reserved for the Children's Carnival.

This year the carnival takes place from 21-24 May, the main parade will be organized on 23 may. It starts at 12am at Hermanplatz through Hasenheide, Gneisenaustraße, Yorckstraße.
