DETAILS OF THE GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS


The following conditions are part of your contract and you should therefore read them carefully. If you have any query's you should contact our team. By booking an apartment with APARTIME.COM you confirm that you understand and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.  

BOOKING AND PAYMENT TERMS


In order to reserve an apartment a reservation deposit of 20% or 25% + vat (see the confirmation email) of the total stay amount is required.  
The rest of the total amount will be paid to the owner in local currency, upon arrival to the apartment or before, depending on the specific terms of the apartment you are booking. In some apartments owners may require to complete the total payment in advance. Credit card payment will not be always available and it is mainly depending on each apartment owner.  

CANCELLATION POLICY


You may cancel your booking no later then 5 weeks before your arrival date.  
Any cancellation made less then 5 weeks before the check in date will mean that all payments made are non-refundable, once the booking has been confirmed.

BOOKING PROCEDURE


You must complete the on-line booking form to secure the booking. The person who completes the on-line booking form must be over 18 years of age and is responsible for ensuring full payment with the apartment owner. They are also responsible for keeping other members of his/her party informed as to the booking details. The booking is confirmed only when an official confirmation email for the booking have been sent to you by APARTIME.COM. Please note that the automatic response with email just after you completed to on line booking query is not the official booking confirmation. The official booking conformation will include specific confirmation of the booking with the apartment address, owner’s telephone number and contact details etc. Is it also very important to remember print out the official confirmation email and bring it with you to the apartment. Not presenting the confirmation email once in your destination can be a cause for non refundable booking cancellation. If we did not confirm the booking it means that the apartment wasn’t booked.

Please carefully check the details on your confirmation booking voucher/email and all other documentation on receipt and inform us immediately of any errors. We do not accept liability for any errors not notified to us within 72 hours of the date of booking and it may not be possible to make corrections at a later stage.

PAYMENT


APARTIME.COM forwards all your reservation information including payment details to the apartment owner. Your credit card details will be used for charging you the reservation deposit for the apartment, an amount that can be 20%, 25% or 30% of the total booking amount, depending on each apartment. Over this amount the usual 16% VAT tax will be charged.   

PAYMENT SECURITY


It is important for you to know that whenever you provide us with personal details or credit card information, it is secure. Your credit card number, name, address, and telephone number are protected by powerful Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technology as it travels through the internet.

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT HOURS


Check in and check out hours depends on the apartment owner and are appearing in the terms and conditions of the specific apartment that you are booking.


CHANGES BY YOU


If you wish to change your booking after it has been confirmed you must cancel your booking and re-book through the APARTIME.COM website. We will try to assist but cannot guarantee to meet such requests. Cancellation charges may apply as set out in the clause above. Reimbursement for unused accommodation cannot be made unless you have cancelled online in compliance with clause above. The cost of any exchange rate differences resulting from your booking changes, will be the responsibility of the booker.


CANCELLATION BY YOU


You may cancel your booking on-line no later then 5 weeks before your arrival date. Your cancellation must be made through the APARTIME.COM website, emailing us the booking confirmation email as well as all the relevant details of the reservation. Please note that any cancellation made less then 5 weeks before the check in date will mean that all payments made are non-refundable, once the booking has been confirmed. Also note that cancellation of the stay once you have checked in the apartment and signed the rental agreement with the owner or the company will not be accepted and you will be charged for the total stay amount.  

CHANGES OR CANCELLATION BY US


We reserve the right to make changes or cancellations after the booking at any time, although we will endeavour not to make a major change or cancel the booking within 72 hours of the arrival date, except by reason of force majeure (see clause below). If we have to make a major change to your arrangements after booking we will offer you the option of accepting the change or cancelling the booking and receiving a full refund of any monies paid to us. We do not accept responsibility for any expenses or costs you may incur as a result of any change.  

FORCE MAJEURE


We do not accept liability or pay compensation for any loss, damage or expense where the performance or prompt performance of our obligations is prevented or affected by reason of force majeure. Force Majeure means any event which we or the supplier of the service could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid such as war or threat of war, riots, civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial action, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions, closure of airports or ports, technical problems with transport, governmental action and all other similar events.


(1) The published descriptions of the apartments are given in good faith. APARTIME.COM does not accept responsibility for errors or omissions. Sometimes owners may suddenly withdraw a facility temporarily or otherwise. This is beyond our control and we are unable to accept liability.

(2) If the owner of the apartment is able to exclude or limit liability by virtue of any International Convention, we will claim the benefit of that exclusion or limitation which is incorporated into your contract with us. Copies of the owner’s conditions can be obtained from us on request.

(3) APARTIME.COM is an on-line bookings agency and do not accept any responsibility for the apartment situation or conditions. The property owner is the sole responsible for all the aspects regarding the property’s conditions. Our responsibility is limited to the booking procedure. Any claim regarding the state of the apartment, its availability, location and or it conditions will be maid to us in writing within no later then 15 days and will be forwarded to the apartment owner or manager.   


NON-ARRIVAL AT THE APARTMENT


In case of late check-in at the apartment, your credit card details, given at time of booking, will guarantee your apartment in case of late arrival. However, if you are due to arrive after 6.00 pm, it is advisable to contact the owner beforehand to advise on this. A contact number for the owner will be on your booking confirmation. Should you fail to arrive at the apartment on the arrival date the entire booking could be cancelled. The apartment might not be available on any subsequent nights of the booking and you will be charged the cost of the whole booking. Reimbursement for unused accommodation cannot be made unless you have cancelled online in compliance with the clause above.

ARRIVAL TIME TO YOUR APARTMENT


After confirming your booking you will be asked to send us your expected arrival time to the apartment. This information is of great importance as it allows the owner to coordinate your reception in the apartment. Failing to notify us or the owner about your estimated arrival time means that the owner can not guarantee your check in time and it will depend on his availability.

APARTMENT PREFERENCES AND TYPES


Please pay special attention to the apartment’s description at the time of booking. We do not have any control over special requests to individual apartments, however, any special requests made at the time of booking will be passed to the owner with your booking details.

It is the responsibility of the person making the booking to ensure that the apartment booked will be suitable for their party requirements and standards. It should be noted that European and U.S. apartments types can differ greatly. Please check during the booking process for any additional supplements. APARTIME.COM will not be responsible for client’s disapproval of the characteristics apartment booked on line.
